Bringing together students, alumni, educators and architectural professionals, the Syllabus National Advisory Committee (SNAC) provides an opportunity for different perspectives to inform the ongoing development of the Syllabus program. The Syllabus team remains committed to continuous improvement, alignment with academic and professional standards, and supporting the success of Syllabus students.
Recent discussions and outputs include:
- Introduction of the Syllabus Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy – to establish clearer expectations for the responsible use of AI in Syllabus studies and academic work
- Update of the Syllabus Leave of Absence policy – to provide clearer guidance for students who need to temporarily step away from their studies
- Terms of Reference clarifying the roles and responsibilities of the Program Examiner in the review of RAIC Syllabus Thesis Diploma projects.
Reviewing and updating Syllabus policies and procedures reflects our ongoing commitment to maintaining a rigorous, responsive program that supports the professional growth of future architects across Canada.
