RAIC Presents: Your Portfolio: Impression, Immediacy, Impact

In partnership with the Business + Higher Education Roundtable, and with support from the Government of Canada and RBC Future Launch, RAIC is excited to present “Your Portfolio: Impression, Immediacy Impact.” This live virtual workshop will include interactive components where Professor Vincent Hui will provide feedback on participants' portfolio sections. This event is free for students and will have French captioning.

Date: November 16, 2022
Time: 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. AT
Duration: 2 hours
Cost: Free for students and members! (pre-registration required). $25 for others.

Portfolios are typically the most important endeavor a student designs and assembles before their first building. As the essential currency in architectural praxis, portfolios are rarely discussed in academia let alone formally dispensed with. This candid presentation outlines a need to understand the differences between portfolios for academic and professional purposes and proposes a series of strategies to successfully create portfolios catering to these two different audiences. This live virtual workshop will include interactive components where Professor Vincent Hui will provide feedback on participants' portfolio sections. Bring your work to the webinar if you would like to be one of the few selected.

Athabasca registration

The registration deadline is the 10th of each month for history, theory, and technical courses with our educational service provider, Athabasca University. Courses will start on the 1st of the following month.

Remember to register on the Syllabus Student Portal as well. Our systems are not linked with Athabasca University, so this does not register you twice or result in any fees. This simply allows us to maintain the student records and transcripts in our own system.
